Who this covers

This policy describes how XLNT Visuals (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through xlntvisuals.com. It applies to this website only — not to work we carry out under a separate client agreement, which is governed by that agreement.

What we collect

Information you give us

If you submit the inquiry form, we receive exactly the fields on that form:

• Your name and email address (required)
• Company and phone number (optional)
• Project type, approximate budget range and desired timeline
• Whatever you write in the message field

The form also records the moment it was opened. That single timestamp exists to reject automated submissions and is not used to profile you.

Information collected automatically

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, tracking or fingerprinting technology. It stores nothing in your browser — no cookies, no local storage, no session storage. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than a font provider, and no images, scripts or styles are loaded from anyone else's servers.

As with any website, the provider that hosts it keeps standard server logs — typically your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and reliability, retained for a short period, and are not combined with anything else or used to identify you.

Video embeds

Where a project page includes a film hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, nothing is requested from those services until you press play. If you do, that platform's own privacy policy applies to the connection. YouTube films are embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, which limits what YouTube stores unless you interact with the player.

Why we hold it, and for how long

We use inquiry details for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not send marketing email off the back of an inquiry.

Inquiries are kept for as long as we are in contact about your project, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our business records. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.

Who else sees it

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for advertising, cross-context behavioural or otherwise. We do not trade, rent or disclose it for anyone else's marketing.

Three kinds of service provider necessarily handle it on our behalf:

• Our email delivery provider, which transmits the inquiry from the website to our inbox
• Our email provider, where that message then sits
• Our hosting provider, which serves the site and keeps the server logs described above

Each is used only to provide that service to us. Beyond those, we disclose personal information only if we are legally required to.

Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no industry consensus on how sites should respond to it, so California law asks us to state our practice plainly: this website does not track visitors across websites or over time, whether or not a Do Not Track signal is present. There is no tracking here for the signal to switch off.

We also do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other sites through this one.

Your choices and rights

The simplest control is the strongest one: if you do not submit the form, we hold nothing about you beyond the server logs described above.

If you have contacted us, you may ask us to tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email inquiry@xlntvisuals.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

California residents

California law gives residents rights to know what personal information a business collects, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The categories we collect are set out above; we collect them directly from you, for the purpose of responding to your inquiry. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not process it for targeted advertising. To make a request, contact us using the details above.

Visitors from the EEA and the UK

We are based in the United States and this site is not directed at the EEA or the UK. If you contact us from either and the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our basis for handling your details is our legitimate interest in responding to a message you deliberately sent us. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and may object to our handling of your information, by writing to the address above.

Children

This website is intended for people commissioning professional video and photography work. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.

How it is protected

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Credentials for the email service exist only as server-side environment variables and are never present in the browser. The inquiry form validates and limits what it accepts on the server, independently of the browser.

No transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information — anything confidential, financial or personal beyond what the form asks for — through the inquiry form.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and post the revised version here. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
